2070 CE. The North American Union creates the National Junior Secret Defense Agency, or NJSDA—why waste the sheer talent of the teens and young adults in the country? Four teams—Team Alpha, the all rounder field team; Team Beta, the coders; Team Gamma, the spies and investigators; and Team Delta, the science geniuses—all lead by the Senior Director James Lewis, would be extraordinary.

18 year old Maya Patil, freshly out of high school, is recruited as the Junior Director and the leader of Team Alpha. In the NJSDA, they have only one supreme task: Keep the Oculus Vault safe.

No one knows what's inside this secret database—but the NJSDA is told it's a matter of great global importance. But just months after this task is entrusted to them, a strange hacker leaves the code in shambles and the vault emptied of its secrets, leaving nothing but a strange, blinking eye in a taunting mark. Strange, violent happenings across the nation conducted by a mysterious Cyborg League, send the entire globe into chaos. The American Union's government is thrown into a state of emergency—the hacker must be found at all costs, and it will be Team Alpha's first task to do so.

But things aren't easy, of course. Maya must lead a team with frosty and heated divides and track down this mysterious hacker who wields deadly secrets at their mercy—secrets that could upend the entire world.
